the Government of Sierra Leone through the Resident Minister Eastern Region,
Mr. Maya Kaikai has acquired a five acre land outside the township of Kenema
and few miles from Hanga where the new Ebola treatment center will be located.
The EOC is also looking at relocating the treatment center currently being
constructed at the Lakka community for Western Area to
Kerry town.
This decision by the EOC to move the treatment centers is as a result of
Presidential Taskforce instructions that all Ebola treatment centers be
relocated to communities away from where people dwell or reside, this will also
include new treatment centers to be constructed in other districts across the
country.
