The embattled and
self-destructive Special Executive Assistant to the President (SEA), Sylvia
Olayinka Blyden, has plunged herself into further ridicule when she tried to
counter a report in The Torchlight about her failure to deliver much-needed
equipment solicited by Sierra Leone Nationals in Canada (SALNAM) and handed
over to her for the Ministry of Health & Sanitation in the fight against
the deadly Ebola virus that has killed scores of Sierra Leoneans and infected
hundreds others.

SLAJ sets up Ebola Response Committee
SUNDAYJULY
27, 2014 –The Sierra Leone Association of Journalists (SLAJ) has
set-up anEbola Response Committee to support the national fight against the
deadly Ebola virus that has so far claimed the lives of some 165 Sierra
Leoneans since the outbreak was confirmed in May this year.

Leone in Saudi Arabia, the Sierra Leone Nationals' Union (SLNU) in Riyadh, in
collaboration with the Dawa and Guidance Committee, made it a point of national
duty to converge at the Chancery on all the four Fridays of the holy month of
Ramadan.
