By way of exerting continuous control measures for the eradication of the deadly Ebola virus in the country, President Dr Ernest Bai Koroma last Saturday 3rd August urged the contractor to fast-track the ongoing work on the Ebola treatment center at Lakka.

President Dr Ernest Bai Koroma last Thursday held wide-ranging discussions with representatives of the Sierra Leone Association of Journalists (SLAJ) and the Executive Committee of the Inter-Religious Council of Sierra Leone to galvanize support in the fight against the deadly Ebola virus disease (EVD) in the country.

As of today, 4th August 2014, we have 159 cumulative number of survivors, 576 confirmed Ebola cases and 211Ebola confirmed deaths.
