| Companies presenting donations to Pres. Koroma |
Representatives of China Kingho Group, Octea and African Minerals have this morning 8th August at State House, presented to President Dr Ernest Bai Koroma donations worth hundreds of millions of Leones.
China Kingho donated Le.400 Million, Octea Le. 220 Million,
whilst African Minerals donated two containers (40 feet and 20 feet) of medical
equipment and supplies worth over $200,000 (Two Hundred Thousand United State
Dollars).
It would be recalled that Africa Minerals Ltd had already
contributed Le.100 Million to complement government's efforts to halt the
spread of the virus in the country, and also contributed the sum of Le.22
Million to assist schools in the epicenters of the outbreak.
