China to continue helping Sierra Leone

FREETOWN -- China will provide Sierra Leone with more assistance if necessary to help the West African country fight the Ebola outbreak, Beijing's ambassador said Sunday.

A forty Feet (40’) sized High cube container full of Medical supplies to aid combat Ebola Virus Disease in Sierra Leone has on Wednesday August 13th 2014 departed the seashores of New Jersey on board the “Grande Marrocco” vessel for the Queen Elizabeth 11 Quay in Freetown, Sierra Leone at the expense of the Embassy of Sierra Leone in the USA.

Nigerian woman suspected of Ebola dies in UAE


Dubai, 18 August: Health officials in the Emirati capital of Abu Dhabi say that a Nigerian woman who arrived on a flight transiting the city and who may have been infected with the Ebola virus has died.
