As a personal friend, and in order to put to rest gossip and lies spreading like wild fire around the world, the update on Mr. Usman Boie Kamara, (UBK) Minister of Trade and Industry, Sierra Leone is that he has not been feeling well and has decided to seek a medical check-up in the United Kingdom.

Mr. Kamara left the shores of Freetown in a private jet to see his doctor in England and he will be returning to Sierra Leone after his treatment.

The spreading of such gossip as to the demise of Usman Boie Kamara has had many family, friends, and business people receiving false information that has been very distressing; and given the current situation with the Ebola virus in the country this is totally irresponsible of individuals.
